This site belongs to Duncan Mortimer, who is taking his distinctive yellow 1978 Clubman GT on it's third round-the-world adventure! I remember reading an article about his first trip in an old copy of Mini Magazine back in 1996, and now it seems he's off to do it all over again on the Mini's 50th birthday year. The car is the same one (complete with matching trailer) that he used on the previous two expeditions but no doubt a few of the mechanical parts are new for this trip. The eight month journey will pass through the USA, Australia, The Far East, China and Russia, and will be raising money for 'Help The Heroes'.
The site is visually simple but it's the content that counts here and with the journey setting off in April 2009 you can keep up with Duncan's regular diary entries and photos from around the world.
